Hi, I’m Smilja — but you can call me Smiki. I’m a self-taught baker and passionate photographer, and the heart behind Smiki’s Corner. I may be a self-taught baker, but my very first lessons happened in my mom’s kitchen — with the smell of cake in the air and flour everywhere. I watched her bake with quiet confidence, no words, no strict rules — just love and instinct. Now, every time I knead dough, I feel like a little piece of her magic is still with me.
What started as a quiet love for creating beautiful desserts and capturing them through my lens has grown into a joyful space where I share recipes, stories, and inspiration from my kitchen to yours. For years, I’ve helped others discover the beauty in baking and the magic in the little things — and now, I’ve built this corner of the internet to keep doing just that.

Ja sam Smilja — ili jednostavno Smiki. Samouka sam poslastičarka, zaljubljenik u fotografiju i neko ko veruje da se najlepše priče pišu brašnom, maslacem i srcem.
Smiki’s Corner je nastao iz želje da podelim ono što volim — mirisne recepte, trenutke iz kuhinje i male, svakodnevne čarolije koje beležim kroz svoj objektiv. Ovaj blog je moj dnevnik u mrvicama šećera i svetlu prirodnog dana, mesto gde kreativnost sipa iz činije, a radost se hladi na rešetki.
