Husarski Poljupci /Vanilla Cookies

Jos jedan odličan recept sa starih požutelih listova, divno je setiti se djetinjstva kroz miris i okus ovih finih kolačića



Sastojci

300 g brašna

150 g maslaca

2 m.k praška za pecivo

70 g šećera

1 vrećica vanilin šećera

1 jaje

4 v.k mleka


Jos potrebno

Pekmez (ribizla ili marelica)


Priprema

1. U prosijano brašno dodati hladan maslac iseckan na kockice, rukama ga utrljati sa brašnom da se dobije mrvičasta smesa. Zatim dodati i sve ostale sastojke pa zamesiti glatko tjesto.


2. Od tjesta oblikovati kuglice veličine orasa u ljusci, slagati ih na pripremljene plehove koji su predhodno obloženi papirom za pečenje. U sredinu svake kuglice napraviti varljačom udubljenje u koje ćemo posle kad su pečeni i prohlađeni staviti pekmez.


3. Keksiće premazati belanjcom i peći 10-13 minuta u predhodno zagrijanoj rerni na temperaturi 180°C. Kad se ohlade, u svaku udubinu staviti malo pekmeza. Ja sam koristila od marelica.


Savet

Moguće je da se udubine koje smo napravili posle pečenja zatvore, pa ako se to dogodi jos dok su vruće ponovo utisnuti varljačom u iste i ostaviti da se ohlade.

Vanilla Cookies

 



Ingredients

300 g plain flour

150 g butter

2 tsp baking powder

70 g caster sugar

10 g vanilla sugar

1 egg

4 tbsp milk


You will also need

Jam (currant or apricot)


Method

1. Put the sifted flour in a mixing bowl and add cold butter (diced). Rub with the palms of your hands until the texture becomes crumbly. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix together to form a soft dough.


2. Tear out some of the dough and roll into a ball the size of a walnut. Place them onto a prepared baking tray and push a hole into the middle of each cookie using the end of a wooden spoon.


3. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Bake them for 13-15 minutes, or until they begin to colour. Once cooled, put the jam into each hole.


Tip

Once baked, the hole may disappear. In this case, once the cookies are baked, you can use the wooden spoon to again push a hole into each whilst they're still hot.
