Sastojci

500 g brašna

1 m.k sode bikarbone

100 g šećera

160 g masta ili maslaca

200 g meda

2 jaja

Priprema

1. U prosijano brašno dodati sve ostale sastojke i zamesiti glatko tjesto. Po potrebi dodati jos malo brašna da se dobije tjesto koje se nelepi za ruke.

2. Pripremiti kalupe za šape, pouljiti ih i pobrašniti. Otkidati po malo tjesta i lagano utisnuti u kalupe. Peći ih u predhodno zagrijanoj rerni 160 °C (fan) 10-ak minuta.

3. Po želji dok su jos vruće vaditi iz kalupa i valjati u prah šećer u koji smo stavili kesicu vanilin šećera. Ja nisam ovog puta, dovoljno su nam slatke ;) Staviti u limene kutije do služenja.

Honey Cookies

Another great recipe taken from vintage pages

Have a look at more recipes using these moulds

Ingredients

500 g plain flour

1 tsp bicarbonate soda

100 g caster sugar

160 g lard or butter

200 g clear honey

2 medium egg

Method

1. Sift the flour and soda into a large mixing bowl, then add the rest of the ingredients and mix until a soft dough forms. You may need to add some extra flour in order to create a soft dough that doesn’t stick to your hands while kneading.

2. Preheat the oven to 160°C (fan). Grease the moulds with sunflower oil spray and dust with flour, then take a teaspoon of dough to fill each mould.

3. Bake for 10 minutes or until they begin to brown slightly. Take them out while they're still hot and dust with icing sugar. They can be kept in an airtight container for a couple of weeks.

Tip

Taste the cookies to see how sweet they are. If they’re sweet enough for you, you can skip the icing sugar.

ENJOY!
