Pogačice od Krompira / Mash Potato Rolls

Please scroll down for English

Odličan način kako iskoristiti preostali pire krompir! Pogledajte ovaj recept ako želite od istog napraviti hleb.

Sastojci

m.k =mala kašika

250 ml toplog mleka

7 g suve germe

530 g brašna

1 m.k soli

1/2 m.k šećera

5 kašika ulja

250 g pire krompira

Priprema

1. Od potrebne količine mleka odvojiti 50 ml, staviti u šolju sa šećerom i dodati germu. Promešati i ostaviti na toplom nekoliko minuta da germa nadodje.

2. Brašno prosijati u veću posudu, dodati so, ulje, pire krompir, nadošlu germu i s toplim mlekom zamesite glatko tjesto. Prekriti čistom kuhinjskom krpom i ostavite da se tjesto udvostruči.

4. Peci otprilike 25 minuta ili dok lepo zarumene.

Mash Potato Rolls

Super easy to make and so delicious! Can be eaten warm or cold. Check this link if you want bread instead of rolls.

Ingredients

250 ml warm milk

7 g dry yeast

530 g white bread flour

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon sugar

5 tbsp olive oil

250 g mash potatoes

Method

1. Line 2 baking trays with baking paper. Place the milk and yeast in a large mixing bowl and set aside for 5 minutes or until frothy. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Using your hands, mix for 10 minutes or until you have a smooth, elastic dough.

2. Transfer to the greased mixing bowl, cover with a clean tea towel and then leave in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

3. Place on a floured work surface and knead to knock it back. Divide the dough into 11 equal portions, about 110g each and roll into rolls. Put them onto the prepared baking trays and set aside for 15 minutes to rise. Preheat the oven to 190 C.

4. Bake for 25 minutes or until they are golden and sound hollow when tapped on the bases. Cool on wire rack. Serve.

ENJOY!
